Who is Your Neighbour? thinks frank conversations matter - a lot.
Talking honestly is a thing people want to do - but it’s not always easy. The times we live in and the stresses we are under can lead to troubling conversations. If those make it harder for people to get along, communities can become less safe.
Through facilitating - not leading - talking and listening, we aim to help people build and sustain peaceful communities resilient to change during challenging times.
We work across South Yorkshire and don’t have an office: our team works remotely. Our registered address is Unit 4 Atlas Office Park, First Point, Balby Carr Bank, Doncaster DN4 5JT if you need to send a letter, but it is quicker to get in touch by email or phone.
We hold facilitated group conversations in South Yorkshire. We support regional and national partners in their work in other parts of the UK.
Usually, our conversations are for a small, invited group because participants need to feel safe enough to contribute. If we host an ‘open’ conversation, in a park or public space, we will advertise it.
We always welcome financial support and donations are vital: one conversation can cost around £1,000 to organise and deliver. You can donate here securely.
Most of our work takes place in person and information about it can be found here on our website. We do have a very small presence on selected social media platforms, links to which can also be found on our website.
