As our work develops, we want to keep improving the ‘UX’ – or ‘User Experience’ – for visitors to our WiYN? website. So, we are making a few changes to the way the content is structured.
Some pages that have until now been top-level or “Parent” pages might move and come under another heading: they become what is called a “Child” page. You don’t need to do anything about this and nor do site visitors – but…..
… while Google takes note of pages that have been moved, people landing on that content may encounter a “Page not found” or similar message. This will follow the usual style of all the website content; the material or page they are looking for will always still be accessible via the top menu (or the menu shown on mobile phones / handheld devices).
Over time, the messages will cease to appear.
If you receive any queries about this, feel free to share this information. (Don’t share the link to this post with people outside the organisation as the noticeboard is intended for internal use). John Mounsey or Anna are happy to answer questions.
Thank you!
